During the sustaining phase, not only do we fix defects, but we also enhance existing products with new features to provide continued value add to customers and extend product life.

Typical Engagement

The client selects Vedams for sustenance to free their own resources to focus on developing the next generation products. The engagement starts with Vedams sustaining engineers working with the client engineering team. This hands-on training typically lasts one to two months. Gradually, issues are assigned to Vedams and as the knowledge base develops, a more complete handover happens in the 3-6 month period. The knowledge of the storage stack at Vedams is both broad and deep, and this results in shortened ramp times and smooth transitions.
